    About Will

Will Power is a two-time IndyCar Series champion (2014, 2022) and one of the most decorated qualifiers in the sport's history, with more pole positions than any driver in IndyCar's modern era. The Australian joined Team Penske full-time in 2010 and stayed on the #12 entry for seventeen seasons — one of the longest single-seat tenures in the championship — before moving to Andretti Global for 2026 to drive the #26 Honda.

After years as the perennial title contender who came up just short, Power finally broke through at Sonoma in 2014. His long-awaited Indianapolis 500 win came in 2018, completing the personal trophy cabinet that had eluded him for a decade. A second championship in 2022 silenced any "past his prime" talk. The Andretti switch reset the chapter heading without changing the underlying CV: Power's qualifying record — a stat once thought untouchable — guarantees his place among the all-time greats.

Will Power currently races for Andretti Global in the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, sitting P17 in the standings with 145 points. Track Will Power's full season on the Grid Guy interactive standings.
